The tyre is a vital component of the driving assembly of the rotary kiln. Its main function is to support the kiln cylinder on the kiln support rollers, and transfer the weight of the cylinder and materials to the kiln-supporting device, so that the cylinder can rotate stably on the support rollers. Rigorous Casting Process
Our tire is normalized and tempered in the casting process, and processed in strict accordance with international mainstream standards. The surface hardness of its working part is not lower than HB170, and the casting blank is free of cracks and pores. The machining deviation is small and the precision is high. The thickness of the inner and outer wheel circles of finished tyres shall be controlled not less than 95% of the design size and not more than 105% of the design size.

When the rotary kiln is running, the tyre will bear the temperature difference stress, bending stress, and contact stress. The strength of the old and worn tyre will decrease, which may cause the tyre to be damaged or even broken due to the inability to withstand these forces, leading to production accidents. Installation of Kiln Tyre
The kiln tyre plays an important role in supporting the rotary kiln, and its installation quality is directly related to the operation efficiency of the whole kiln system. Therefore, special attention must be paid to controlling relevant details during its installation.
1. The tyre is not directly installed on the cylinder of the rotary kiln, but on the base plate. The tyre is looped on the cylinder, and there is an appropriate gap between them to form a natural ventilation duct, which can improve the heat dissipation of the cylinder surface, as well as reduce the heat conduction of the kiln body to the tyre, reduce the temperature difference between the inner and outer edges of the tyre, and thus reduce the temperature stress of the tyre. During the operation of the rotary kiln, the tyre belt and the kiln body experience relative sliding along the axial direction, resulting in wear. At this time, the base plate can play a role in protecting the kiln body.
2. When installing the tyre, it is very important to adjust its axis and the axis of the support rollers to keep them in the same straight line. If the axes of the two are not consistent, it will not only reduce the rotation rate of the kiln cylinder, but also increase the wear of the tyre and the support rollers.
3. The surface of the tyre shall be lubricated timely after installation. The tyre of the rotary kiln is an important part to drive the cylinder to rotate. If its surface is too rough and the resistance is too large, it will not only reduce the rotation rate of the cylinder, but also cause the over-burning of materials.
