Belt Bucket Elevator Designed for Heavy Industry
The belt bucket elevator is a high-efficiency vertical conveying system widely used across mining, construction, power generation, cement, steel, and chemical industries. This equipment efficiently handles the vertical and inclined transport of various bulk materials, including abrasive powders, granules, small lumps, and moist, sticky substances. And with fully enclosed design, belt bucket elevators can prevent dust emission and reduce environmental impact. The compact structure and small footprint optimize space utilization, fitting well in facilities with limited space. Compared to chain bucket elevators, belt bucket models offer higher conveying speeds, smoother and quieter operation, enhanced wear resistance, and better corrosion protection.
AGICO CEMENT’s N-TGD belt bucket elevator uses a reinforced steel cord-reinforced belt to achieve exceptional stability and durability under challenging conditions. Its maximum conveying capacity reaches 950 m³/hour, and the maximum lifting height can reach up to 100 meters, making the equipment especially suitable for large-scale material handling conditons, such as in cement plants for raw material and clinker transport, or at ports for bulk material cargo handling.

AGICO Belt Bucket Elevator Advantages
Special High-Strength Steel Cord Belt
Our bucket elevator uses specially designed specialized steel cord belt as the traction component. This specialized belt is completely different from traditional belts in terms of thickness, steel wire density, latitude and longitude arrangement, and steel cord thickness. It fully considers the various forces that the belt bears during the process of large conveying capacity and ultra-high lifting, as well as the impact of dense and continuous arrangement of buckets and high operating speeds (1.25 m/s~1.9 m/s) on the belt. It has been proven that this specialized steel cord belt fully meets the requirements of large conveying capacity and ultra-high lifting, and the service life can reach more than three years.
Advanced Belt Splicing Technology
For enhanced reliability, the steel cord belt incorporates a proprietary splicing method that fortifies the joint area. The splice achieves a tensile strength that surpasses that of the belt itself, which reduces the risk of failure at the connection points. Traditional bucket elevators frequently face issues such as belt cracking and breakage, leading to sudden stoppages. This technology mitigates those risks and thus allows the equipment to operate consistently under heavy loads and extended usage scenarios, which is crucial for industries requiring continuous production.
Enhanced Bucket Fixing Mechanism
Our belt bucket elevator employs a dense bucket arrangement, we optimized the space between buckets to increase efficiency in material transport. Each bucket is securely attached using specially designed bolts and reinforced protective measures around the belt. This method addresses common challenges like belt fatigue and drum damage, which often occur with conventional attachment techniques. The reinforced design minimizes wear on both the belt and the drum, reducing maintenance needs and preventing issues such as bucket detachment during operation.
Automatic Belt Alignment System
This elevator integrates a precise automatic alignment system combining electronic sensors and mechanical adjustments. The tail pulley uses an auto-centering design, while the guide wheels with beveled edges correct any deviation in real time. Additional sensors monitor material levels and belt speed, actively maintaining optimal alignment. By reducing instances of belt misalignment, the system boosts overall efficiency and prolongs equipment lifespan. This technology suits facilities where consistent operation is essential, as it minimizes downtime and maintenance interruptions.

Belt Bucket Elevator Structure Design
Belt Bucket Elevator Working Principle
The belt bucket elevator operates by transporting materials using buckets attached to a traction belt. The belt forms a continuous loop around the head, tail, and intermediate pulleys, creating a system with both a loaded section carrying materials and an unloaded return section.
As the motor drives the head pulley, the belt moves continuously, lifting materials within the buckets. These materials are transported vertically or at a slight incline until they reach the discharge point at the top. The head pulley transfers the necessary power to keep the belt in motion, while the optimized bucket design and secure attachment ensure efficient material flow with minimal spillage or wear.
