Cement Conveyor & Conveying System

In cement plants, multiple kinds of conveying equipment are needed from the feeding, material transmission to the discharging and warehousing. It is conveying equipment that connects other equipment in the cement production line as a whole.

As a professional cement plant manufacturer, AGICO offers three types of conveying equipment for cement plant projects: cement feeder, cement conveyor, and bucket elevator. AGICO also offers overland conveyors for the long-distance transportation of bulk materials, and heavy duty conveyor belts.


Feeders are a type of auxiliary equipment in cement plants, they are installed on the discharge port of storage devices such as silos and bins. The function of cement plant feeders is to unload the materials in the storage device and feed them into certain machines or devices such as rotary cement kilns, cement mills, cement packing machines, etc. The feeders we offer include two types: disc feeders and vibrating feeders.

A disc feeder or disk feeder scraps materials from the storage container with the help of its adjustable scraper and rotating disc, and conveys materials to the receiving equipment. Our disc feeders performed well on feeding powder, granular and small bulk material whose diameter is below 20mm. The disc feeder is only suitable for feeding non-sticky materials, not for powder materials with good fluidity.

A vibrating feeder or vibratory feeder uses both vibration and gravity to realize material transportation. Gravity affects the direction in which the material moves, and at the same time, vibration is used to move the material. It is able to feed block and large-sized granular materials uniformly.

Vibrating feeder is the equipment for conveying large materials, while disc feeder is the equipment for conveying small particles and powders. In cement plant, vibrating feeder is usually used for raw material feeding before jaw crusher or other types of crushers, and disc feeder is often used for conveying small materials after the crusher crushing process.


The conveyor is a kind of industrial equipment that can continuously and stably transport materials on a specific line. The conveyor is widely used in the assembly, testing, debugging, packaging, and transportation of objects in the manufacturing industry. In cement production, the conveyor is also an indispensable part of composing a cement plant. The conveyors we usually use in our cement plants are mainly belt conveyors and screw conveyors. But we can also supply our customers with other types of conveyors such as bucket chain conveyors if required.

Our TD type and DTII type heavy belt conveyors used in cement plants both have great performance in the long-distance transportation of a large number of bulk materials. They can transport materials with a bulk density of 0.5 ~ 2.5 t/m3 within the ambient temperature range of -25 ~ 40℃.

Our screw conveyor models cover tubular screw conveyors, shaftless screw conveyors, and LS screw conveyors. Unlike belt conveyors, a screw conveyor can feed material from and to multiple points. But on the other hand, it has low conveying capacity and short transportation distance. The maximum transportation distance of screw conveyor is between 40m and 70m, and the optimal operating temperature is 20~50 ℃.

Bucket Elevator

The bucket elevator is characterized by vertical conveying of powder, granular and small pieces of materials. It has compact structure, small area coverage, large lifting height and good sealing performance. The bucket elevator can be divided into belt type and chain type.

Bucket Elevators

The belt bucket elevator is light, easy to maintain, and generates low noise. It can be used for conveying powder or granular materials with a density less than 1.5 T / m3.

The chain bucket elevator has a larger load than the belt type. It can be used to transport granular or small pieces of materials with a large volume and a density of more than 1.5 T / m3.
